The Takagi T-M1 water heater is state of the art and has many mounting and venting options. These optional accessories may also be used with the AquaStar 240FX and Takagi T-KD20 and T-KJR. Exterior mounting is for mild climates only (no freeze ups) and requires an optional Vent Terminator.

Remote control unit to control output water temperature of the T-M1 water heater
Model TM-RE10
The TM-RE10 Temperature Remote Controller has two functions. It allows the output temperature from the T-M1 to be adjusted within the range of 99°F to 182°F and it also works as a diagnostic tool that will give a concise error code whenever there is a problem with the unit. The temperature options are 99°F, 100°F, 102°F, 104°F, 106°F, 108°F, 109°F, 111°F, 113°F, 115°F, 117°F, 122°F, 131°F, 140°F, 158°F and 167°F or 182°F.

Wall ventilation terminator for the T-M1 Hot Water Heater
Model TK-TV01
The TK-TV01 wall vent terminator for installation of Takagi water heaters to be vented out a side wall. This is a CSA tested Takagi component. Connect the Category III stainless steel vent pipe from the top of the unit to the backside of this terminator to exhaust flue gases through the wall without a thimble.

Outdoor Installation Venting Cap
Model TK-TV06
The TK-TV06 Vent Cap is for outdoor installation of the T-M1 tankless water heater. The cap is installed on the top of the unit, instead of connecting an exhaust vent pipe. The cap will prevent any debris that might be in the environment from entering the unit and causing damage or a fire hazard, as well as preventing rain or other weather from entering the unit.

Mobius TM1 Multi System Controller
Model TM-RE20
The TM-RE20 is for multi system control of the T-M1. This can control a maximum of twenty TM1 units, which means a BTU rating from 25,000 to 4,700,000 BTU. And it also works as a diagnostic tool that will give a concise error code whenever there is a problem with the unit. When the TM-RE20 is used, the TM-RE10 must be used in the installation as well.

Back flow preventer for the T-M1 Hot Water Heater
Model TK-BF01
A 4-inch back draft preventer should be used when outside temperatures are below 32°F. The TK-BF01 prevents cold air from freezing the heat exchanger on the T-M1.
