  • Takagi TK3 Combustion Air Supply Requirements
Air Supply From Outside Building When combustion air is supplied from outside the building, an opening communicating directly with the outside should have a minimum free area of one square inch per 15,000 BTUH input of the total input rating of water heater in the enclosed area.
Air Supply From Inside Building When combustion air is supplied from inside the building, an opening communicating with the rest of the dwelling should have a minimum free area of one square inch per 1000 BTUH input of the total input rating of water heater in the enclosed area. These openings should never be less than 100 sq. in.



  • Output Temperature Ratings of the Takagi T-K3
The Takagi T-K3 on demand water heater is factory preset at 122°. You can change the output temperature with the internal dipswitches to 104°, 113°, 122°, 140° or 182°. If you want to use any other temperatures than this you can purchase the optional Temperature Remote Controller (TM-RE10) that will allow the TK3 to have output temperatures from 99° to 185°.

Please Note: Hot Water Heater Temperatures over 125°F can cause severe burns instantly or death from scalding. Children, disabled and elderly are at the highest risk of being scalded. Feel water temperature before bathing or showering.
