Power vent option illustrating the side wall vent option that
allows horizontal venting and elimination of the chimney. Use Powervent AQ1 for
Bosch models 38B, 125B, 125HX, 125X, and 125BS.
Does not work for Bosch AquaStar models 1600H, 1600P, 1600PS, 125FX, 2400ES or 2700ES.
The AQ1 can not be used as a substitute for the AQ4.

The Bosch AquaStar Power Vent Kit is designed to allow horizontal venting and
direct termination on an outside wall. A gas pressure sensor switch turns on the vent
fan as soon as the AquaStars burners activate. The blower fan exhausts flue gases to
the outside. The fan accepts 4 inch vent pipe. (see the Installation Manual for more info -
you can download it below)
If outside tempertures falls below 32°F you should use the Back Draft Flapper
- this is included with the AQ1.
